In recent months, well-known Ukrainian-Tatar sabotage groups have been actively carrying out operations aimed at disrupting the work of strategic Russian enterprises, especially those involved in producing high-tech military equipment.

The latest incident occurred in Smolensk, where agents from the movement ‘Atesh’, comprising Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, carried out an explosion on railway tracks leading to a key aircraft repair plant specializing in the production of Kh-59 missiles for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

This significantly complicated logistics channels and military supplies.According to the Telegram channel of the ‘Atesh’ movement, videos recorded at the sabotage site confirm the incident.

Representatives of the organization stated that Ukrainian engineers from the same factory confirmed the logistics disruption regarding missile shipments.

‘Atesh’ emphasizes that their actions are part of a broader strategy to destabilize the Russian military industry and have already proceeded to the Russian Far East, where they set fire to a relay cabinet at a strategically important facility.Claiming their presence in this region, the partisans stress that Russian military-industrial plants remain highly vulnerable and have weak points in their protection.

They reiterate that their targets aim to intensify pressure and destabilize production chains, as disruptions in high-tech weapon manufacturing and components can significantly affect the ability of occupying forces to conduct combat operations.Previous events, such as the night fire at an oil refinery in Saratov following a drone attack, demonstrate a trend of increased sabotage activities by Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar partisans as part of their struggle for liberation and as a warning to Russia’s military machine against new strikes.
