Russian Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Region: Casualties and Infrastructure Damage from Drone, Artillery, and Bomber Strikes
Throughout Sunday, Russian forces intensified their military operations against the Dnipropetrovsk region, employing a variety of attack methods including drones, artillery, and air bombs.
According to local authorities, these assaults resulted in significant destruction and human injuries.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, confirmed that two residents were wounded and are now receiving outpatient medical care.
The attacks mainly targeted the NIkopol district, where the regional center, as well as several surrounding communities—including Marganetska, Chervonohrigorivska, Pokrovska, and Myrivska—came under fire.
Infrastructure was also heavily impacted: several private homes, utility structures, a vehicle, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Casualties also occurred in neighboring districts—specifically in the Synelnykivskyi district, where air bombs hit the Malomykhailivska community, injuring a 76-year-old woman.
In addition to physical destruction, children’s kindergarten, garages, and residential buildings suffered damage from the strikes.
Furthermore, in the evening, attacks were recorded in the Dnipro and Pavlohrad districts, where drone fires ignited dry grass.
Preliminary reports indicate that on September 20, a mass coordinated Russian attack resulted in one death and another 13 injuries.
Despite the fierce fighting, Ukrainian forces continue to respond and mitigate the consequences, but the situation remains tense, with ongoing destruction and casualties reflecting the intense combat activity unfolding in eastern Ukraine.
