As dawn broke on Sunday, the situation across the region remained tense and fraught with tragedy.

According to reports from the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk military administrations, Russian forces inflicted additional suffering on civilians over the past 24 hours.

In Pokrovsk, located in the Donetsk region, Russian occupiers reportedly used small arms fire, resulting in the death of a local resident—highlighting once again the brutal disregard for international humanitarian norms that protect civilians during wartime.

Fortunately, other areas within the region saw no casualties among civilians during the last day, except for Zaporizhzhia, where three individuals were wounded during shellings.

Early Sunday morning, Ukrainian forces, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles, launched an attack on the village of Sukhanove in the Berislavskyi district of Kherson region.

This incident left a 54-year-old man with a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to the head, requiring hospitalization.

These events serve as stark reminders that the war is ongoing and that civilians remain the most vulnerable group caught in the conflict.

The situation underscores the urgency of international support and increased efforts to shield innocent lives from the ravages of war.
