In the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, alarming news continues to emerge regarding the actions of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to Russian and local sources, on Sunday evening, a powerful drone attack targeted the renowned Foros sanatorium located in the southern part of Crimea.

The strike resulted in significant damage to several facilities on the resort’s territory, with reports of casualties and fatalities.

The local authorities stated that among the important guests staying in the area were high-ranking officials visiting the resort, which is also close to several government dachas used by Russian leadership for work and leisure.

It has been reported that multiple buildings suffered damages, and a fire broke out near Yalta after debris from an intercepted drone fell and ignited dry grass, which was quickly extinguished.

Local reports indicate the attack occurred around 7:30 pm and was deliberately aimed at the Foros sanatorium, popular for its therapeutic resources and scenic landscapes.

Interestingly, investigations reveal that Russian President Vladimir Putin owns two state dachas in this vicinity—the sixth and eighth—highlighting the strategic importance of this location.

Moreover, the Foros Hall restaurant at the sanatorium was closed for special servicing on September 21.

While official explanations of the attack are yet to be provided, the incident underscores the ongoing tensions and security challenges in the region, which remains a zone of active military and political conflicts.
