Recently, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, engaged in a significant conversation with U.S.

Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

The primary focus of their discussion was the preparation of a security assurance framework for Ukraine, along with coordinating joint efforts to enhance cooperation in military, defensive, and economic spheres.

This dialogue took place in anticipation of the upcoming meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S.

President Donald Trump during the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

According to Yermak, the talk with Rubio was crucial for defining further strategic support directions from the United States for Ukraine.

Topics included expanding military aid, preparing security guarantees, and strengthening diplomatic coordination aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.

The interlocutors emphasized that the upcoming meeting between Zelensky and Trump would be a part of a constructive dialogue between the two leaders, designed to foster long-term peace and security.

It is also noteworthy that on September 20, Zelensky confirmed his intention to meet with Trump during the UN General Assembly, taking place from September 21 to 24 in New York, which adds strategic importance to this diplomatic encounter.
