Ukraine has secured significant seats within the administrative and operational bodies of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), marking another milestone in its active engagement on the international stage in postal and logistics services.

This notable achievement was announced by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, highlighting that Ukraine was elected to both the Administrative Council and the Postal Operations Council of the UPU.

Holding these influential positions paves the way for Ukraine to implement modern digital solutions and actively support global postal networks amidst international challenges and crises.

Minister Sybiha emphasized that these successes are also symbolically important, especially considering that Russia and Belarus, which support aggressive actions against Ukraine, were not elected to the leadership bodies of the UPU — a clear demonstration of the global community’s stance in favor of peace and security.

Ukraine’s victories in international organizations reflect its proactive approach and desire to integrate into global diplomacy, which will enhance its international position and promote national interests in the postal and logistics sectors.
