Russian Forces Attack Chernihiv Region: One Killed, Eight Wounded

On September 19, the Chernihiv region experienced a series of aggressive attacks by Russian military forces, resulting in civilian casualties.
Official reports confirm that one person was killed and eight others were wounded during these hostilities, including three medical workers providing assistance.
The most affected area was the Nizhyn district, where a 62-year-old local resident lost her life due to a drone strike.
Later that evening, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles launched another attack on the Chernihiv district, injuring three civilians: a driver and two passengers traveling in a car.
Emergency services responded immediately, but during a secondary strike, three medical personnel providing aid were also injured.
All six victims are currently hospitalized.
Additionally, two men aged 56 and 62 from the Semenivka community near the border were wounded.
