On Sunday afternoon, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched another attack on Chernihiv, causing significant damage to the city’s transportation infrastructure.

According to official sources, provided by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhinsky, and reports from ‘Suspilne’, the attack resulted in damage to roads and transport hubs.

Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate no casualties among residents, with damage confined mainly to infrastructure.

Bryzhinsky also reported the discovery of two downed Russian drones that fell within the city.

Earlier, around 17:20, residents of Chernihiv heard loud explosions, confirming drone activity overhead.

Authorities are currently conducting investigation and warning citizens about possible future attacks.

This situation once again highlights the security threats in the region and underscores the urgent need for enhanced defense measures or modern anti-drone systems.
