Russian Attacks on Kyiv Region: Night Strike Causes Widespread Destruction

On the night of September 20, Russian military forces launched a significant nocturnal strike across Kyiv region, leaving substantial destruction and fires in three districts.
According to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnik, the aftermath of the attack was recorded in Bucha, Boryspil, and Obukhiv districts.
Early in the morning, powerful explosions and alarm signals echoed through these areas, damaging private properties, vehicles, and critical infrastructure.
In Boryspil district, about ten garages were damaged, while in Obukhiv district, a large fire broke out in a private residential house due to a rocket hit—firefighters have already extinguished it.
In Bucha district, fragments of a downed drone caused fires in five cars, which have been contained.
The same night, a missile strike on Dnipro resulted in a large-scale fire, including hits on a multi-storey residential building.
Additionally, ballistic missile attacks were reported in Mykolaiv and Pavlograd, with multiple explosions heard in both cities.
Local authorities are still clarifying details regarding possible casualties and the extent of destruction, but initial reports indicate significant damage and ongoing tense situation.
