Intense combat on the frontlines: over 120 clashes since morning and widespread shelling
According to operational reports from the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, since early morning on September 19, more than 120 separate incidents of clashes and combat engagements have been recorded on the front lines.
Specifically, as of 10:00 PM, there were 124 combat encounters, with approximately 47 taking place on the strategically significant Pokrovsk direction.
Enemy forces actively used aviation, conducting 55 airstrikes with over 98 guided bombs, and employed more than 2,000 kamikaze drones, causing extensive destruction.
Military officials report that during this period, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy assaults in northern sectors, while another offensive remains ongoing.
In the South Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian positions in the areas of Vovchansk, Figolivka, and toward Odradne.
Additionally, offensive actions continued in the Kupiansk sector, where the enemy launched several attacks near Stetskova Nova and Pishanka.
In the Liman area, Russian troops carried out persistent attacks, totaling 15 assaults near the settlements of NovaMykhailivka, Shandrigolove, Kolozyia, Torske, and Zarichne, as well as in directions toward Stovki, NovaMykhailivka, and Sredne.
Ukrainian forces successfully repelled three enemy attempts to advance in the Severodonetsk area, where the occupiers tried to move forward in the regions of Viyimka and Dronivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces made two unsuccessful attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Stupochki.
The Toretsk sector became particularly intense, with Russian forces launching 16 assault attempts across territories including Toretsk, Shcherbinivka, Poltavka, as well as Pleschiivka, Rusyny Yar, Ivanopillia, and Stepaniivka.
Along the Pokrovsk line, the enemy launched 47 attempts to penetrate Ukrainian positions, with attacks in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Rodinske, Novoeconomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlina, Molodetske, Udanne, Dachne, Chervony Lyman, and Novopavlivka.
On the Novopavlivka sector, the aggressor made 28 attempts to breach defenses near Filiia, Voskresenka, Berezove, Maliivka, Novoukrainka, Piddubne, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Sichneve, Novomykolaivka, and Olhivske.
In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations but launched an airstrike with unguided rockets on Zaliznychny.
In the Orikhiv sector, two attacks were recorded near Kamianske and toward Stepnohirsk.
In the Dnipro direction, Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted twice to advance toward Ukrainian positions near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
