Donald Trump announces ‘fatal strike’ against drug trafficking vessel and calls for intensified fight against drug menace

President Donald Trump made an unexpected announcement, revealing that he issued a directive to execute a formidable and lethal attack on a vessel allegedly involved in illegal drug trafficking.
According to Trump, this operation was aimed at neutralizing the threat posed by a drug cartel and its associated criminal organizations, which destabilize the region and jeopardize the safety of American citizens.
Trump stated that the order was signed by the Secretary of Defense and specified that the strike targeted a ship controlled by a group recognized as a terrorist organization engaged in drug trade within the jurisdiction of the U.S.
Southern Command, covering Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.Intelligence reports confirmed that the vessel was engaged in illegal drug shipments, following a well-known trafficking route.
As a result of the operation, three individuals onboard the vessel lost their lives, while no U.S.
military personnel were injured.
