Chernihiv subjected to new damages from enemy airstrikes: infrastructure damaged and drone activity intensifies

On September 20th, the city of Chernihiv experienced a new escalation of military conflict triggered by enemy air attacks, resulting in significant damage to transportation infrastructure.
According to Dmytro Bryzhinsky, head of the city’s military administration, the fall of a Russian drone damaged several transportation facilities, causing temporary disruptions in their operation.
Fortunately, no civilian casualties were reported.City officials also confirmed the destruction and downing of two additional enemy drones within Chernihiv, highlighting the ongoing active operations by the aggressor in this region.
These incidents were part of a large-scale Russian offensive during a massive night attack that affected not only Chernihiv but also other critical regions of Ukraine.According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, in just this one day, Russia deployed over 600 air-based weapons, including attack drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles.
Besides Chernihiv, the missile strikes targeted Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Poltava, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, illustrating the extensive and coordinated nature of these attacks.
