Ukrainian Defense Forces Regain Control of Seven Settlements in Donetsk Region, Push Deeper into Enemy Lines

According to recent reports, Ukraine’s defense troops have achieved significant territorial gains in the Donetsk region, regaining control over seven settlements.
Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi announced that during the latest operation, Ukrainian forces not only liberated several localities but also cleared key areas of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Overall, more than 160 square kilometers of territory have been freed, with an additional 171 square kilometers cleared of enemy sabotage groups.
The offensive in this sector saw Ukrainian troops advance between three to seven kilometers inland, marking an important strategic achievement.
Local sources indicate that enemy losses over this period amounted to over 2,400 personnel, with more than 1,300 being irrecoverably lost.
Additionally, nearly 820 units of military equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, multiple launch rocket systems, as well as automotive and motorcycle vehicles, were destroyed.
The Russian side also suffered substantial material losses: 12 tanks, 37 armored vehicles, 162 artillery systems, five MLRS, 382 cars, 58 motorcycles, and one piece of specialized equipment.
These heavy losses significantly weaken the enemy’s operational capacity, opening new opportunities for Ukrainian counteroffensives and liberating more territories.
The ongoing military activities demonstrate Ukraine’s determined efforts to push back Russian forces and restore sovereignty over occupied regions.
