Russia’s Delegation Anticipates Crucial Meeting Amid Diplomatic Developments at the UN

Against the backdrop of rising tensions in global politics and increased diplomatic activity, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya announced a scheduled meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Nebenzya, this meeting would mark the first high-level encounter of this kind since 2021.

While specific details of the negotiations remain undisclosed, he emphasized that a broad range of issues would be discussed, including bilateral and international topics.

The agenda is not yet finalized, but the significance of such a meeting for international diplomacy is undeniable.
