In the modern mobile application «Reserve+», widely used by Ukrainians for military registration and monitoring their military statuses, some users have started noticing unfamiliar markings in their electronic military records.

Specifically, many are concerned about the «VOS-999» mark appearing next to personal data.

This has caused rumors and fears whether such a mark could lead to fines or restrictions.

However, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has clarified that this marking serves purely technical purposes and does not result in fines, restrictions, or any mobilization measures.Officially, «VOS-999» is an internal military registration code assigned to citizens who have not undergone military service or training exercises.

It is established by the Ministry of Defense order №317 and is based on Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine «On Military Duty and Military Service».

This mark helps the state accurately assess the number of liable citizens who, in case of mobilization or special circumstances, need to undergo basic military training. The «Reserve+» application functions as a modern tool for monitoring military registration, and this information is fully accessible to users.

At the same time, the Ministry emphasizes that individuals whose documents contain the «VOS-999» mark do not need to take any additional actions, such as reapplying or submitting appeals.

This mark does not constitute grounds for fines or restrictions; rather, it has an informational and accounting purpose, helping the state manage military records more effectively.Recall that over 20,000 Ukrainians abroad have already registered their military status with the TCC, ensuring the country’s defense capabilities.
