Kupyansk Under Attack: Ukrainian Forces Confront Russian Saboteurs in a Fierce Battle

Intense fighting continues in the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, following the infiltration of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups into the urban area.
Ukrainian military units are conducting extensive counter-sabotage operations aimed at neutralizing the enemy and ensuring the safety of local residents.
According to Andriy Besedin, the head of the Kupyansk City Military Administration, the situation remains extremely critical, with Russian occupiers intensifying their efforts to seize control over the city.
Thanks to persistent combat operations and coordinated efforts, Ukrainian forces have managed to eliminate a significant number of enemy sabotage groups and have captured some Russian soldiers.
However, Besedin highlighted that Russian military command has issued orders to inflict harm on civilians and carry out terrorist acts.
A notable tactic employed by the enemy was the use of a gas pipeline to facilitate troop movements, which Ukrainian forces managed to detonate and flood, effectively disrupting the supply route.
Meanwhile, Russian troops are escalating their maneuvering by crossing the Oskil River using makeshift pontoons and boats, trying to reposition their units further into strategic positions.
The ongoing hostilities and counterattacks are a testament to the resilience of Ukrainian defenses and their commitment to safeguarding the city from infiltrators and sabotage groups.
