Widespread Arrest: TCK and SP Employee Causes Multiple Accidents and Injures Officer
In the Ternopil region, law enforcement agencies conducted a large-scale operation to apprehend a driver who repeatedly violated traffic regulations and caused a series of accidents.
According to official reports, on September 17, police patrols identified a video on social media showing a Skoda vehicle fleeing from police while possibly intoxicated.
Immediate investigation and procedural actions led to the vehicle’s detention in the Zbarazh district.
During the chase, the driver provoked numerous traffic collisions, including with police patrol cars, trucks, and private vehicles.
As a result of the incident, a police officer was injured, raising questions about the driver’s identity.
Later, it was established that the perpetrator was a 31-year-old employee of the Ternopil Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.
Several hours prior, he had been intoxicated and involved in two additional traffic accidents.
The authorities are currently working on bringing him to administrative responsibility under articles related to speeding, violations of traffic rules, hit-and-run, drunk driving, and other breaches.
The special operational measures to apprehend the suspect are ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are striving to ensure justice according to Ukrainian legislation.
