Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a comprehensive appeal to the international community and world leaders to unite efforts and take decisive action to put an end to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

According to him, despite numerous calls for peace and negotiations from many countries, Russia continues to demonstrate unwavering readiness to prolong military hostility, ignoring international efforts and diplomatic attempts at resolution.

Zelensky emphasized that just two weeks ago in Washington, proposals were made for immediate high-level negotiations, and Kyiv is fully prepared for dialogue.

However, unfortunately, the Kremlin seems to have chosen the path of investing in war rather than seeking peace.

‘All signals coming from Russia confirm only one thing — its intention to continue aggression.

During his visit to China, Putin will once again seek ways to evade responsibility — this is his usual tactic, well known and condemned globally.

Meanwhile, world leaders, including China, India’s Prime Minister, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, are unanimously calling for a ceasefire and diplomatic resolution of the conflict.

Notably, the Pope’s recent statement also emphasized that the only party seeking to prolong the war is Russia,’ Zelensky stated.

He also highlighted that the war, officially named ‘War against Russia,’ is a global security issue requiring increased international pressure on Moscow.

Continued conflict destabilizes global stability, and Ukraine relies on firm support from the US, EU, and G20 countries, which have already demonstrated their willingness to help and stand with Ukraine in its fight against aggression.

Additionally, Zelensky expressed gratitude to international partners who joined the PURL program, enabling Ukraine to purchase modern weaponry from the United States.

Several countries, including the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Canada, Belgium, and Latvia, have joined the initiative, which has already exceeded $2 billion in funding.

The goal is to add at least one billion dollars each month for the procurement of advanced weapons such as Patriot missile systems, HIMARS artillery, and other high-tech equipment that helps defend Ukrainian cities and civilians.

Previously, Zelensky reported that Ukrainian defense forces are successfully preventing Russian advances in Donetsk and the Pокровск area, marking a significant milestone in Ukraine’s territorial defense.
