Ukrainian Defenders Inflict Heavy Losses on Russian Armored Units Near Dobropillia
In the Dobropillia region, Ukrainian defensive forces coordinated an effective countermeasures, resulting in significant enemy losses.
They managed to destroy key Russian armored vehicles using modern missile systems and artillery, including the HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
According to reports from the 79th Separate Aeromobile Assault Brigade, Russian troops attempted to bolster their offensive by deploying additional units from the Kursk region, notably the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.
The situation intensified following a reported attempt to break through armored formations in the Progress-Malinivka area, where Ukrainian defenders, utilizing HIMARS and aviation support, successfully targeted and destroyed enemy machinery and neutralized dozens of Russian soldiers, dealing a severe blow to their offensive capacity.
As a result, the enemy suffered substantial losses: seven units of military equipment were destroyed, and between 50 to 100 enemy personnel were eliminated.
Ukrainian commanders point out that the invaders are trying to destabilize Ukrainian logistics in the region to force dispersal of Ukrainian forces and weaken their defenses.
