Poland deported Ukrainian citizen for making threats to set houses on fire

Poland has completed measures to forcibly remove a Ukrainian national from the country who, through social media videos, issued threats to set residential buildings on fire.
This was officially announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Marcin Kierwiński, through his social media account on X (formerly Twitter).
The incident occurred amidst recent political and social events in the country, including tensions related to the display of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) flag at a concert by popular Ukrainian singer Korazh.
According to the Ukrainian ambassador, border officers forcibly escorted and deported the man back to Ukraine.
The videos, in which the man threatened to ignite houses if financial aid of 800+ for Ukrainians in Poland was not restored, were posted online on August 29.
In his statements, the Ukrainian citizen declared he would commit arson if certain demands were not met.
Recently, Poland has intensified its policies regarding foreigners, especially after the incident at Belarusian rapper Max Korzh’s concert in Warsaw, which led to the deportation of over 60 people—including 57 Ukrainians and 6 Belarusians.
Some of these individuals have already been forcibly removed from the country.
This policy has sparked significant reactions and debates among the public and human rights organizations concerning the rights of foreigners and the level of humanism in such measures.
