Gathering of the ‘Decisive Coalition’ in Paris: What to Expect from the Second Stage of International Support for Ukraine
The issue of ensuring Ukraine’s security has once again become the focus of international political attention, as on September 4th, the French capital will host a key meeting of the ‘Decisive Coalition’ formed to support the Ukrainian people in their fight against aggression.
According to sources, this event will mark the second phase of a broad international initiative that will bring leading world leaders together to discuss and formulate security guarantees for Ukraine.
The meeting is expected to take place in a hybrid format: French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Kír Starmer will attend in person, while some participants will join remotely.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed his participation alongside other European leaders to discuss critical issues concerning security guarantees for the Ukrainian state.
Prior to this, Macron indicated that detailed preparatory work had been carried out at the military headquarters level, where contributions from each country were preliminarily defined.
Currently, participants are preparing for in-depth discussions on mechanisms and frameworks for providing guarantees that will bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
This meeting will be a significant step forward in strengthening international solidarity and unity in the fight for European stability and security.
