Zaporizhzhia Restores Power: Energy Services Resume After Night Attack by Russian Forces

Following a major nighttime attack by Russian forces that caused widespread destruction and temporary power outages in Zaporizhzhia, local energy officials and authorities have intensified efforts to restore electricity supplies.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, technicians worked tirelessly during the day to reconnect most consumers to the power grid.
However, complete recovery of all damaged infrastructure is still ongoing, as safety remains the top priority.Fedorov noted that several multi-story residential buildings and private houses remain disconnected due to safety inspections and necessary repairs of gas and electrical systems before resuming full service.
The attacks involved the use of combat drones and missiles, resulting in significant damages and casualties.
The number of injured from the shelling has risen to 34, with one person lost their life.Despite the challenges, authorities are continuing the repair work to ensure the safety of residents and restore normal life.
