South of Odesa, in the strategically important port city of Chornomorsk, a series of large-scale military provocations and relentless explosions have been ongoing for several hours.
According to monitoring sources and Telegram channels, from the recent minutes of the night of August 30 and into the early hours of the new day, loud explosions have again rocked the city, plunging the region into a heightened state of alert.
An air raid alert was issued in Odesa and surrounding areas just before 23:27 on August 30.
By 00:56 on August 31, an additional 15 drones were reported to be approaching over the city and maritime area, indicating active enemy operations.
Earlier reports indicated over 20 drones attempting to target infrastructure and regional security.
