A large-scale fire has broken out at a chemical warehouse near Moscow, specifically in the town of Balashikha, located on the outskirts of the Russian capital.

Preliminary reports indicate that the fire affected storage facilities covering over 4,000 square meters.

Multiple fire brigades, including helicopter units equipped with Mi-8 and Ka-32 aircraft, are actively working to extinguish the flames.

Sources reveal that the warehouses belong to the Balashikha Research Chemical Plant and the TDK company, which specializes in household chemical sales.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

The causes of the fire and potential environmental consequences are still under investigation by relevant authorities.

The incident poses a significant danger not only due to the fire itself but also because of the threat of toxic fumes and chemicals dispersing into the atmosphere.

Emergency services are closely monitoring the situation to prevent the fire’s spread and to mitigate any adverse effects on local residents and the environment.
