Battle for Dobropillia: Ukrainian Defenders Fight Hard Against Russian Infantry Groups

In the vicinity of the city of Dobropillia, intense fighting and active operations by Ukrainian forces continue, aimed at eliminating remnants of Russian infantry units still present nearby.
According to Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the operational-strategic group ‘Dnipro’, Ukrainian defenders are diligently working to locate and destroy these occupying forces, preventing their regrouping with the main enemy units.
Tregubov emphasized that victory can only be confirmed once Ukrainian troops are sure that Russian soldiers have failed to break out from encirclement near Dobropillia.
Additionally, he mentioned that Russian infantry groups are attempting to infiltrate other sectors of the front as well, especially trying to penetrate the city of Pokrovsk from various directions and establish strongholds within its buildings, adding further tension.
Earlier reports highlighted that over 110,000 Russian soldiers are concentrated on the Pokrovsk front, a figure twice the population of the city.
The occupying forces aim to destabilize Ukrainian logistics and divert military resources, thereby weakening defenses and complicating Ukraine’s efforts to hold its positions.
