Russian Forces Advance on the Frontline: New Gains in Donetsk Region

On one of the most intense segments of the current front, Russian troops are actively progressing, executing a strategic double encirclement known as DeepState.
According to Ukrainian and international sources, including the analytical platform DeepState, Russian forces have advanced near several key locations and villages along the Lyman sector.
They have secured positions near Shandrigolovo and Derilove, creating tactical challenges for Ukrainian defenders in the area.
Meanwhile, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that Russian units recently pushed to the northeastern outskirts of Novomikhaylivka, supported by geolocation video evidence showing Russian soldiers raising their flags over the territory.
Reports also indicate that Russian forces have fully captured Novomikhaylivka and are pushing east from Shandrigolovo, west from Seredne, and northeast from Stavki, approaching the central part of Ridkodub and within Glushchenkove.
Additionally, reports of Russian successes west of Kolodyazi, northwest of Zarichne, and in the Serebryansky forest area have emerged.
The General Staff of Ukraine reported 25 enemy attacks on the Lyman sector during the evening, focusing on advancing near Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Zarichne, Yampil, and toward Druzhelyubivka, Shandrigolove, Dronivka, Serebryanka, and Hryhivka.
Previously, Ukrainian forces had achieved successes around Mirogograd, but Russian troops are increasing pressure near their breakthrough zone around Dobропilly, indicating intensified efforts to maintain strategic positions in this part of the frontline.
