Russian Aggression: Civilian Casualties and Infrastructure Damage in Donetsk and Kherson Regions on August 29
On August 29, the regions of Donetsk and Kherson experienced a heavy wave of Russian military shelling that resulted in tragic consequences for the civilian population.
According to local authorities — Donetsk and Kherson oblasts — at least two people were killed and 13 others injured in these attacks.
The highest number of casualties was reported in Kostiantynivka, where Russian forces killed one local resident.
Moreover, across the region, six more individuals were wounded, including three in Kostiantynivka, and one each in Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, and Starorayske.
The situation on Kherson oblast was similarly severe: one person was killed and seven others wounded due to Russian strikes.
The main targets of these attacks included critical and social infrastructure, residential districts, and private homes.
Artillery shelling damaged two multi-story buildings and three private houses.
Additionally, the enemy destroyed a cellular tower, damaged a gas pipeline and a water tower, and damaged private vehicles of residents.
These actions highlight the inhumane and cynical tactics of the Russian military, which continue to destroy vital infrastructure and terrorize peaceful residents, further exemplifying their brutal conduct of warfare.
