Massive Night Attack on Zaporizhzhia: Number of Wounded Rises to Thirty, One Civilian Killed
Last night, the city of Zaporizhzhia once again found itself under a powerful attack by Russian forces, resulting in human tragedies and destruction.
According to the latest reports, the number of those injured due to the massive assault has increased to 30, with one person losing their life.
This was confirmed by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, who shared information about hospital patients via Telegram.
He stated that most of the wounded suffered shrapnel and stabbing wounds, as well as stress-related conditions caused by the nighttime attack.
As the number of casualties continues to grow, medical and emergency services are working around the clock to provide necessary assistance.
Additionally, social services and district administrations have already received 235 calls from residents in need of support or shelter, including 11 internally displaced persons and 57 individuals with special privileges.
Two of the victims required temporary accommodation.
The prelude to this brutal attack occurred last night: on the night of August 30, Russian troops launched an unprecedented number of drone and missile strikes aimed at inflicting maximum destruction and terror on the city’s population.
Subsequently, the number of injured increased from the initially reported 28 to the current 30.
Overall, one civilian has been killed during these hostilities, highlighting the ongoing danger and volatility of the situation in Zaporizhzhia and nearby districts.
