Major Night Attack in Zaporizhzhia: Destruction, Injuries, and Threats to Industrial Infrastructure
On the night of August 30, Zaporizhzhia was the scene of a major military assault resulting in significant destruction and human casualties.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian forces launched at least 12 missile and artillery strikes targeting the city, hitting private homes, high-rise buildings, and industrial infrastructure facilities.
These attacks triggered large fires that are still being extinguished by rescue services.
Three residents sustained injuries and received medical assistance.Various types of weaponry were used, with a number of strikes aimed directly at residential neighborhoods, causing extensive damage and panic among the populace.

Fedorov stated that fires are still spreading and the full scope of the damage is yet to be established.
