Frontline Battles: Over 120 Clashes and Peak Activity in Pokrovsk Direction
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces and their defenders have engaged in over 120 large-scale combat encounters with the enemy, characterized by high intensity and a variety of tactical maneuvers.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that the greatest activity is concentrated in the Pokrovsk sector, where the occupiers launched more than 50 attacks in different forms.
This includes missile and aviation strikes: one missile and 49 aviation bombs targeted Ukrainian positions, along with 1,420 kamikaze drone attacks and over 3,300 artillery shellings.
On this front, Ukrainian troops successfully neutralized 114 enemy combatants, including 84 on the battlefield itself, employing modern countermeasures.
Additionally, several enemy equipment and vehicles were destroyed, including an artillery system, two cars, multiple motorcycles, and UAVs, while other enemy weapons systems and equipment were damaged.
Heavy fighting took place in areas including Volodymyrivka, Mayak, Zapovidne, and others, where defenders stopped over 100 enemy assaults and inflicted significant losses on the Russian forces.In other critical sectors, the situation remains tense.
Enemy attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses were repelled in the Toretsk, Lyman, Novopavlivka, and Orikhiv regions, with Ukrainian forces successfully holding their lines.
Some attacks lasted for hours, but defenders prevented enemy advances in all cases.
The military emphasizes that the war continues, and the fight for every piece of territory persists across all sectors, with Ukrainian forces actively resisting the enemy and inflicting substantial casualties.
