Enemy Drone Attack Injures Village Elder During Ongoing Assault in Sumy Region
In the Sumy region of Ukraine, a new aggressive attack was carried out by Russian forces in the Druzhibivska community, resulting in the injury of a local village elder.
According to Oleg Grihorov, head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration, the incident has heightened regional concerns.
On Wednesday around 4:30 PM, a Russian combat drone targeted the territory of the Druzhibivska community, executing a daring act of aggression.
As a result, a 62-year-old man, serving as a village elder in one of the local settlements, sustained injuries.
Emergency assistance was promptly provided at the scene, and hospitalization was not required.
This attack marks another episode in a series of Russian shellings that affect not only rural neighborhoods but also the outskirts of the region.
Additionally, Russian forces launched further military strikes, targeting the Putiivska community with two attack drones and shelling the area with long-range MLRS.
These actions damaged residential buildings and a cargo vehicle, further emphasizing the ongoing threat and instability faced by local residents amid the war.
The incidents underscore the persistent danger and ongoing hostilities in the region, raising fears of further escalation and violence.
