Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a recent interview with the media, conveyed his firm belief that former U.S.

President Donald Trump has not lost interest in diplomatic efforts concerning the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

According to Zelensky, he had a brief and constructive conversation with Trump, during which the former U.S.

leader acknowledged the complexity of the situation and the importance of seeking a compromise.

Zelensky also speculated that Trump’s comments about not wanting to interfere in negotiations might relate to the possibility of his first independent visit to Russia and his understanding of the American stance that any direct meeting between Ukraine’s leader and Putin should precede a tripartite summit involving the United States.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that the United States aims to succeed in this process and recognizes that an initial meeting might not yield immediate results, but collective strength and perseverance will ultimately help achieve their goals.
