Russian Attacks in Zaporizhzhia: One-Year-Old Child and Elderly Man Wounded in Recent Strike

On August 29, the Zaporizhzhia region once again faced devastating military strikes carried out by Russian forces, causing significant destruction in residential areas.

According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, a one-year-old child and a 70-year-old man were among the victims of a missile attack.

Local medical teams immediately responded to provide necessary aid and stabilize their condition.Ivan Fedorov, the regional head, reported that the enemy launched four rockets targeting the village of Malokaterynivka, deliberately hitting residential zones, which resulted in severe damage.

Several private houses were destroyed or damaged by the blast waves, and nearby structures and infrastructure facilities also suffered.

In addition to this tragedy, a 70-year-old man was injured in the attack.Meanwhile, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces conducted extensive shelling, igniting a fire in a local Culture House and destroying multi-story buildings and other structures.

Throughout the day, the occupying forces launched a total of 553 strikes across 13 populated localities.Major attacks included airstrikes on Malokaterynivka, Prymorskyi, Novodanilivka, and Bilorí, along with multiple missile strikes from multiple launch rocket systems on Maly Tokmachka and Novodanilivka.

Drones played a significant role, with 376 UAV attacks of various models, mostly FPV, registered in areas such as Belenke, Plavni, Huliaipole, and others.In total, more than 45 objects were damaged during the attacks—including residential buildings, cars, agricultural structures, and critical infrastructure.

Reports of destruction continue to emerge.

Additionally, as of 1:30 AM on August 29, the death toll from the massive air raids in Kyiv has risen to 23 people.
