Decline in Trump’s Support Among Americans: New Poll Data Sparks Concerns
Recent sociological surveys in the United States reveal a significant decline in public support for former President Donald Trump’s activities.
According to data from Quinnipiac University, his approval rating has dropped to its lowest point during his second term in office.
Only 37% of registered voters express support for his policies and actions, while 55% disapprove.
An additional 7% of respondents were unsure.
This downward trend continues since January, the month Trump assumed office, when support was at 46%.
The growing dissatisfaction is especially evident among independent voters: 58% disapprove of his activities, with only 31% supporting him.
Support among Republicans remains relatively high, though slightly diminished — in August, 84% endorsed his performance, compared to higher levels earlier.
Overall, these results reflect a concerning shift in public confidence during a critical pre-election period.
The survey involved 1220 registered voters and was conducted from August 21 to 25, with a margin of error of 3.4%.
Additionally, tensions are mounting over possible connections between Trump and Russia, as some analysts suggest his actions align with Kremlin interests, fueling further worries about external influence on U.S.
politics.
