From dusk till dawn, the Ukrainian capital Kyiv transformed into a battlefield due to a massive missile attack that caused extensive destruction and loss of life.

Recent updates report that the number of confirmed fatalities has increased to 23, with over 225 residential and non-residential buildings damaged, including homes, garages, administrative structures, and yards.

Across all districts of the city, more than 5,400 windows and window blocks have been shattered.

Rescue operations are ongoing around the clock, involving nearly 800 personnel and 162 units of equipment, working tirelessly to clear debris and restore order.

Emergency response teams are operating in three districts—Darnytskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Dniprovskyi—where they continue night-long search and rescue activities, as some residents remain unaccounted for since the attack.

Tragically, among the victims are four children; the youngest is just two years old.

International reactions have condemned the strikes, with U.S.

Special Representative for Ukraine Kiet Kelleog warning that these airstrikes threaten regional peace.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also denounced the night attack, emphasizing that Russia once again revealed its true face amidst mounting chaos.
