Vladimir Klitschko Blasts Nighttime Kyiv Shelling: ‘The Hand Trump Shaken Is the Same That Gave the Order to Destroy’

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Vladimir Klitschko did not stay silent in the wake of the tragic events that unfolded last night in Kyiv.
A well-known boxer and public figure issued a strong statement on Instagram, condemning the aggressor’s actions and voicing his support for the Ukrainian people.
Klitschko emphasized that while the world is preoccupied with peace talks and treaties, Ukrainians continue to pay a heavy price for what he described as a ‘war for peace.’ In his post, he pointed out that the hand once shaken by Donald Trump during a meeting — a hand that now appears to have issued the command to destroy a residential building in Kyiv, resulting in at least 17 Ukrainian lives lost, including four children.
Klitschko described that hand as toxic, comparing it to Chernobyl — a symbol of devastation and unjustified evil.
He called on global democracies to act more decisively, asserting that if barbaric Putin-led Russia refuses peace, it should face more severe repercussions.
It is noted that the night prior, Russian forces launched 32 missile strikes and nearly 600 drones across Ukraine, aiming to cause maximum destruction.
In Kyiv, 18 civilians are confirmed dead from the attack, with many killed and injured, including children.
Rescue operations are ongoing in the Darnytskyi district amid the rubble of destroyed buildings.
Nearly fifty Kyiv residents were injured, some seriously.
In response to this tragedy, Kyiv has declared a Day of Mourning.
World leaders and Ukrainians worldwide condemn these actions and urge more decisive measures to end the conflict.
