In the face of numerous hostile statements and actions by Hungary, Ukraine is demonstrating a firm stance in protecting its national interests and moral values.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiga, known for his principled and uncompromising statements, sharply condemned his Hungarian counterpart Peter Sijarto for announcing the ban on the entry of UAV unit commander Robert Bovi, nicknamed ‘Magyar,’ into Hungary.

This decision was made amidst massive Russian missile strikes on Ukraine, which have resulted in civilian casualties, including children.

In his social media post, the Ukrainian diplomat expressed outrage and called for reconsideration of Hungary’s position, emphasizing that ‘if Russian gas pipelines are more important to Hungary than the Ukrainian children murdered by Russia today, then this reflects moral decay.’ Reports state that Ukraine plans to adopt a mirror approach in response to this situation to showcase its own stance and efforts to safeguard its security and future.

Meanwhile, Sijarto’s actions have sparked outrage among Ukrainian diplomats and the public, who see this move as a sign of treachery and propagandist cynicism.

Earlier, it was reported that Sijarto announced a visa ban for the commander responsible for attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, an action that has been widely criticized in Kyiv.

Experts suggest that Hungary’s decision is part of a broader diplomatic confrontation, where countries are asserting their positions on the war and their national interests.

Independent analysts stress that Russia is deliberately targeting logistical centers and critical infrastructure in the region to increase energy pressure on Ukraine and its allies.

However, the international community calls for unity and support for Ukraine during these difficult times, emphasizing that any act undermining sovereignty and energy security is not only an internal matter but also an expression of aggression against international norms and values.
