Tragic Road Accident in Kirovohrad Region Claims Six Lives

On the night of August 28, a devastating road collision occurred on the M-30 highway near the village of Rozsokhuvatka in the Kirovohrad region.
Two passenger vehicles, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus and a MAN bus, collided in a crash that resulted in the deaths of six people and serious injuries to six more.
The accident happened around 2:00 AM while both vehicles were traveling along the route connecting Striy, Uman, Dnipro, and Izvarine, near Rozsokhuvatka.
According to law enforcement officials, investigations reveal that the collision involved a driver born in 2003 operating the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and another driver born in 1992 driving the MAN bus.
The crash claimed the lives of the bus driver and five passengers from the minibus, including a child.
Additionally, six individuals, including another child, sustained severe injuries and were hospitalized.
Authorities have initiated a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which addresses violations of traffic rules resulting in multiple fatalities.
Ongoing investigations aim to clarify the circumstances of this tragedy and prevent similar incidents in the future.
