The tense situation in Kyiv region continues to be one of the main challenges for Ukraine, as the enemy has intensified its attacks on civilian infrastructure using missiles and drones on a large scale.

Over the past day, the aggressor’s armed forces launched numerous strikes across four districts—Brovary, Vyshhorod, Obukhiv, and Fastiv—causing significant damage to residential buildings, hospitals, and roads, thereby fueling public anger and concern.According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, a 33-year-old man was injured during the missile attack in the Fastiv district, with damage to his chest and legs, and received medical assistance.

The enemy also damaged the regional clinical hospital, shattering about 50 windows, destroying doors and window frames, leading to the temporary evacuation of patients to a safe location.

The region also suffered from damage to vehicles—four cars were destroyed, one apartment in a multi-storey building was damaged, and 19 private homes sustained harm.In Kyiv, in addition to shelling, infrastructure objects such as the British Council building and the office of the Ukrainian Pravda were damaged due to missile strikes.

According to Ukrainian military and rescue services, at least 14 people, including three children, were killed as a result of these attacks, and 45 Kyiv residents were injured. The large-scale attack by Russia also affected the Donbas region: in Vinnytsia oblast, energy, railway, and residential infrastructure were damaged, creating additional difficulties for residents and complicating recovery efforts.

Overall, the situation remains tense, and Ukrainian services are working hard to quickly mitigate the consequences of missile and drone strikes.

Ukraine remains confident in its ability to fight back and defend itself, but each new missile strike reminds us of the high cost of this fight and the need for international support in these difficult times.
