On Thursday, August 28, Russian forces launched another ruthless air raid on Ukrainian territory, targeting a community within the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region.

This attack served as a stark reminder of the scale of destruction caused by the ongoing war and its devastating impact on peaceful residents.

According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, the strike resulted in the death of a 49-year-old man, while four others were injured with varying degrees of severity.

Private homes and local infrastructure suffered damages, further exacerbating the hardships faced by the community.

This incident underscored the urgent need for increased protection and measures to defend civilians in the region.

Meanwhile, experts from the analytical team DeepState claimed that Russian troops had supposedly taken control of two villages — Zaporizke and Novogeorgiivka.

However, representatives of the Ukrainian General Staff clarified that these settlements are not under Russian control, and active fighting continues in the area.

Ukrainian military forces recently regained control of the village Zelenyi Hai, situated near the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk region.

The ongoing situation highlights the complex and volatile nature of the conflict, which continues to test the resilience of local populations and defenders alike.

The tragic loss of life underscores the necessity for unity and intensified efforts aimed at restoring peace and security in the region.
