In the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, new regulations have come into effect regarding the organization and conduct of mass and ceremonial events.

From now on, organizers and initiators of mass gatherings are required to seek prior approval from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

This decision was made by Timur Tkachenkо, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), who signed a corresponding directive.

According to this document, all applicants planning to hold large-scale events in Kyiv must submit their requests for approval to the General Staff first and then receive an official permit.

It is important to note that these regulations were enacted in accordance with government order issued by Ukraine’s Prime Minister on August 23, 2025.

The publication “Vechirni Kyiv” reports that all requests still being processed must pass through this new procedure, and organizers must inform KCMA of the outcomes.

Authorities urge all responsible entities and event organizers to promptly disseminate this information to ensure compliance with new regulations and to prevent potential disruptions during upcoming gatherings.
