In Kyiv, on the night of August 27 and the early hours of August 28, reports emerged about serious incidents threatening the safety of the capital.

Due to heightened air raid alerts and increased tension, loud explosions sounded across the city, prompting emergency services to operate in a state of high readiness.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the situation is of serious concern, with enemy drones and ballistic objects detected in Kyiv’s airspace.

At 22:33, he reported that a Russian drone had fallen into the yard of a high-rise building in the Sviato-shynskyi district, although no significant damage or explosion occurred.

Simultaneously, the Air Defense Forces were actively working in key districts of the city, urging residents to stay in shelters.

Further details indicate that air force reports confirm drone flights near Brovary and threats towards Kyiv.

Moreover, after midnight, a series of explosions took place in the city, confirming active efforts by air defense systems to neutralize threats.

At 3:15 AM, medical teams were called to the Dniprovskyi district, indicating possible consequences of early morning events.

Emergency services are working in the Shchevchenkivskyi and Darnytskyi districts, responding to new challenges arising from the ongoing security threats to Kyiv.
