Russian invaders attack Kherson again: two civilians wounded during night strikes

Russian military forces continue their aggressive actions against the Ukrainian city of Kherson by launching new missile and artillery attacks, resulting in serious consequences for the local population.

On the morning of August 27, around 5 a.m., the occupiers shelled the Dnipro District of the city using artillery.

As a result, a local woman born in 1972 was injured while at her home during the attack.

She sustained severe wounds, including blast trauma and multiple burns, and was urgently hospitalized for treatment.A few hours later, approximately at 6:30 a.m., the Russians employed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in a subsequent attack on the central parts of Kherson.

This strike targeted infrastructure and vital city facilities.

The attack injured a 67-year-old resident who suffered a concussion, a fragment wound to the temple, and traumatic brain injuries caused by the blast.

The man was immediately hospitalized, and his condition is currently assessed as moderate.These events further confirm that Kherson remains at the frontline of the conflict, with the civilian population suffering from successive acts of aggression by Russian forces.

Local authorities urge increased attention and aid to the victims, emphasizing the urgent need for the city’s liberation to ensure safety and peace for its residents.
