On the night of Wednesday, August 27, the city of Kherson once again found itself under fire from Russian forces.

According to regional prosecutor’s office and local authorities, the occupation army launched a series of artillery and drone strikes across various parts of the city, resulting in human casualties and significant infrastructure damage.

As a result of the night attack, an 81-year-old woman succumbed to severe wounds after being hit during shelling in the Dnipro district, while another local resident aged 53 sustained extensive burns and blast injuries.

She was hospitalized for medical treatment.

Moreover, about an hour and a half following the initial attack, the central part of the city was targeted again — Russian drones struck this area, injuring two men aged 56 and 67.

They received shrapnel and concussion injuries, including head traumas, and were hospitalized.

Overall, the situation in Kherson remains tense, and residents are advised to stay cautious and avoid potential targets.

Reports from local authorities also indicate ongoing activity of Russian drones near the M-14 highway Kherson — Mykolaiv, urging citizens to refrain from travel along this route to prevent possible danger.
