The Ukrainian government officially announced a new decree that marks a significant step in regulating the overseas travel of citizens of conscription age.

According to this document, men aged from 18 to 22 inclusive are now permitted to leave the country without the need for additional permits or approvals from the Ministry of Defense.

This decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers during an urgent meeting held the previous day, taking into account numerous requests and the current situation in the country.

In light of these new circumstances, the government emphasizes that this move aims to simplify departure procedures for the younger generation and to foster economic and cultural ties abroad.

However, government officials also stress that this does not eliminate existing restrictions, which remain relevant under the martial law regime.

Further details regarding procedures, conditions, and the duration of this decision will be clarified by the relevant ministries and authorities.
