Vasyl Lomachenko officially announces his first public appearance after retiring from professional boxing

Former three-weight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko has revealed his plans to participate in a significant sporting event – the WBO Convention scheduled to take place in Bogotá, Colombia.
He shared this news in a video message addressed to his fans: “Hello everyone, this is Loma.
I want to confirm that I will attend the WBO Congress in October this year in Bogotá, Colombia.
I look forward to seeing you there.” This will mark his first public appearance since he officially announced his retirement on June 5.
In his statement, Lomachenko thanked everyone who supported him throughout his career — including his parents, his manager, his promotional team, and fans around the world.
Interestingly, he did not mention the ongoing war in Ukraine.
His last fight took place in May last year in Australia, where he knocked out local boxer George Kambosos in the 11th round, claiming the IBF title and stripping his opponent of the IBO belt.
Over his professional career, Lomachenko has competed in 21 fights, winning 18 with 12 knockouts and suffering just 3 losses.
Recognized as one of the most talented and successful boxers of his generation, his career is celebrated worldwide.
The event is also expected to feature festivities honoring his legendary career and offers fans a unique opportunity to meet him in person.
Organizers encourage everyone interested to register now and not miss this chance to witness their idol.
Overall, this will be an excellent occasion for boxing enthusiasts across the globe to come together and honor Lomachenko’s remarkable contributions to the sport.
