Former US President Donald Trump has made a significant statement regarding the current status of Ukraine’s military aid, stirring considerable attention.

According to Trump, Washington has officially ceased financing Ukraine and its government, instead shifting the main burden of support onto NATO member countries, which, he claims, are now covering the bulk of the expenses.

He emphasized that the United States is now focusing its efforts on selling weapons and military equipment to allies, who are, in turn, ‘funding all the military actions.’ Trump stated that American factories are operating at an increased capacity to meet the demand for air defense systems, including Patriot missiles, produced for European allies.

He believes this strategy helps avoid direct involvement in the conflict while providing Kyiv with necessary weaponry.

Furthermore, he added that arms sales generate billions of dollars in revenue for the US, with American companies holding some of the world’s best military developments and manufacturing.

He also noted that France and Italy are not participating in the US-led weapons procurement mechanism for Ukraine, with the potential that frozen Russian assets might be used for financing.

Kyiv is counting on receiving at least one billion dollars per month from international partners to purchase US weaponry and equipment.
