Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a pivotal meeting with U.S.

administration representative General Keith Kellogg, during which they discussed key strategies to increase diplomatic and economic pressure on Russia.

The main focus was on compelling Moscow to return to negotiations and agree to genuine peace accords through sustained sanctions, tariffs, and other restrictive measures.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of maintaining these sanctions and expressed Ukraine’s readiness to engage in high-level dialogue, expecting similar commitment from Moscow.

The discussion highlighted the role of the United States and the European Union in creating an effective security architecture for Ukraine, which is vital for stabilizing the situation in Eastern Europe.

Zelensky also expressed gratitude for support from Donald Trump and stressed the importance of implementing agreements reached in Washington regarding humanitarian aid and defense measures.

Military cooperation was another key topic, including potential agreements on the supply of weapons and drones, as well as the PURL program, which allows Ukraine to purchase U.S.

equipment with the help of allies.

Additionally, the leaders discussed humanitarian issues, notably the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia, with hopes that the U.S.

will continue to prioritize this issue at the highest diplomatic levels.

Zelensky thanked the U.S.

for funding military purchases amounting to a billion dollars per month.

This meeting demonstrated the unity of the international community in supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and security efforts.
