Russian shelling in Kupiansk: one dead, two injured
On Sunday, the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, temporarily occupied by Russian forces, experienced a tragic incident that underscored the brutal reality of the ongoing war.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, at around 4:00 PM, Russian troops carried out a heavy artillery attack on the city.
The attack resulted in the death of an 82-year-old woman who was at the scene, while two other residents sustained injuries of varying severity.A 35-year-old woman received blast wounds and is currently hospitalized.
Another wounded victim is an 83-year-old woman, who was diagnosed with acute stress reaction due to the situation.
This incident highlights the fragility of civilian lives amid relentless shelling and the destruction that continues to affect the region.
It serves as a grim reminder of the human toll of war and the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
