Vens predicts potential end of Ukraine war within six months

US Vice President Kamala Harris expressed optimism regarding the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, suggesting that the war could come to a close within the next six months.
In an interview with NBC, Harris highlighted that the United States is engaged in energetic diplomatic efforts aimed at stopping the bloodshed, praising President Donald Trump’s vigorous diplomatic initiatives.
She emphasized that regardless of the outcome—whether the war ends in three or six months—the American people should be proud of their leadership’s efforts.
Harris also acknowledged the complexities of negotiations, stating that sometimes progress is evident, while other times there’s disappointment with Russia’s stance. She pointed out that Russia’s position seems to be shifting, with significant concessions already made, including a recognition that Ukraine’s territorial integrity must be preserved and that Moscow is no longer advocating for a puppet regime in Kyiv.
Nonetheless, she admitted that territorial concessions have yet to be seen, and Russia’s current position remains firm on maintaining control over occupied territories. The diplomat stressed that peace negotiations are challenging and require patience and diplomatic finesse.
The US is actively mediating between Ukraine and Russia, hoping for a compromise that respects Ukraine’s sovereignty and guarantees its security.
Though the process is complicated, Harris remains hopeful that an agreement is attainable, and emphasizes that the United States will continue to push for a peaceful resolution as quickly as possible.
